蘿倫．包威爾畫廊（洛杉磯 Los Angeles）的「可愛陰」群展（註），展出時間為6月10日至7月16日。

這場從與藝術家班哲明．卡布爾（Benjamin Cabral）最初討論的提案，發展為囊括四十位藝術家所創作八十件作品的展覽--探討美學項目「可愛」與其相反元素「陰鬱」彼此間的和諧與張力。這些作品提醒我們「可愛」在艱困時刻中的效用--提供我們暖心及療癒的感受，或者是用來傳遞需求、傷口、恐懼、甚至憤怒的視覺元素。在面對充滿陰鬱的世界中，「可愛」能為我們做些什麼？

Lauren Powell Projects is excited to present Cute Gloom, opening Friday, June 10th and running through July 16th. Initially conceived in collaboration with featured artist Benjamin Cabral, the project grew to include work by 40 artists. The 80ish pieces remind us of the utility cuteness can possess in difficult times, from providing a source of comfort and self-soothing to serving as a visual language to convey needs, wounds, fears, and even anger. When faced with a world of gloom, what can cute do for us?

註：展覽標題「可愛陰 （Cute Gloom）」，為「六月陰」或是「陰六月」的諧音(June Gloom)，意指加州特有的在春末夏初天空時而灰色，微微陰暗、偶爾降雨的天氣。
